I was having the standard BV smell and then gritty foul smelling discharge at the end of my period and used metronidazole on the last day of my period. I started having these clumps come out and felt around up there by my cervix during my shower and a bunch of these clumps kept coming out. They're not squishy like normal blood clots and almost look/feel like tissue. They don't have a particular smell. In February I was hospitalized for the flu and they ended up finding a 2.6 cm uterine fibroid but not sure if that's connected! Also worth noting I am queer and have not had sex with a man in over a year. I'm hoping it's just a weird interaction between the metronidazole and the blood clots that were coming out at the end of my period but I wanted to be safe and see. submitted by /u/Right-Landscape-6938 [link] [comments]
