i’ve never really felt sexual pleasure and i don’t know what’s wrong

hi everyone. i’m 18 and i’m looking for advice from other women who may have gone through something similar. i’ve been with my boyfriend for many years and i love him very much. i enjoy being intimate with him, i like having sex and i genuinely want it, but i feel like my body just doesn’t respond the way it should. i’ve been sexually active for a long time, but i’ve never really experienced sexual pleasure the way other people describe it. i don’t have pain or discomfort during sex. the problem is that when my clitoris is touched, i can feel the touch, but it doesn’t turn into pleasure or arousal. it just feels like a weird sensation. i’ve never had an orgasm. i’ve also tried masturbating by myself, but it feels like almost nothing happens. sometimes touching my nipples gives me a tiny bit of sensation, but it fades almost immediately and never turns into arousal. i’ve already seen a gynecologist, had blood tests done and treated a vitamin b12 deficiency, but nothing changed. i also have a history of recurrent urinary tract infections, although i’m not sure if that’s related. this has affected me emotionally because i constantly compare myself to my friends and wonder why i can’t experience sex the way they do. i really want to know what sexual pleasure feels like. my boyfriend is incredibly understanding and never pressures me, and i’m so grateful for that. but i still feel guilty because i often feel like i can’t give him the experience he deserves, even though he has never made me feel bad about it. has anyone experienced something similar? did you eventually find out what was causing it? what kind of doctor helped you, or what treatment made a difference? thank you so much for reading. submitted by /u/kooorp [link] [comments]
