Hi girls! I came here just for some advices and/or a pep talk (😭)! I'm almost 17 years old and I've never been to the gynecologist. I've recently (about 5 months ago) started having sex with my boyfriend, and have been experiencing increasingly more painful periods in the last three years. My mother says that I need to go to the gyno, especially because I lost my virginity and all, but to be quite honest, I'm HELLA scared. I have asked my friends and they all have different opinions on whether it hurts or not, is it comfortable, do you get used to it etc. Can somebody, both older and closer to my age PLEASE give me some advice on how to get over my fear?
