1 year in nursing and Currently working 3-12hr night shifts in an LDRP unit, and I love my job. I went into nursing to be a labor and delivery nurse, and I still love it, it is just not working for our family. My husband works out of state from March to the end of October, so I rely heavily on others to help with watching our kids (2 and 4) overnight. Our 4 year old will be starting preschool next month, and I am struggling. My family keeps telling me I am messing up my children with the inconsistency of my schedule. And having to have different people watch them the nights I work, so I’m trying to find something that may be better for our family.
