Pelvic pain and more

I wanted to share a story about my wife because so many women go so long without answers. The first thing I’d like to say is if there’s no easy identifiable cause, consider ischemia. For 10+ years my wife has been dealing with severe pelvic, stomach, hip, and kidney pain. She was finally diagnosed with May Thurners and the doctors also believe she has Fibromuscular Dysplasia. There can be so many different conditions that cause pelvic pain. So please consider ischemia if you haven’t perfectly identified your condition or before you have a hysterectomy. If you’re allergic to contrast, you’ll need to pretreat your allergy which can be done days in advance prior to your scan. MRI dye is not the same as CT dye and there is a CT dye that is new and doesn’t cause the allergic reaction. I hope someone finds this and prevents all the suffering my wife went through prior to her diagnosis. submitted by /u/GearedTFout [link] [comments]
