I have the mirena iud since June 2025. Back in June I was in and out of the hospital for severe pelvic pain in which they thought I had a pelvic infection (ended up not being it, all STD swabs were negative) but they ended up finding an ovarian cyst. I had some form of infection as I had a fever and my white blood cell count was going up (they then thought my appendix). Anyways, ever since this I feel like my pelvic area hasn’t been normal and I often get cramping. But the other week I had this discharge with a big lump of something (I’ve never ever had anything like that before so I was quite concerned) I did take a pregnancy test which was negative. But just tonight I had similar discharge (not as much) but small pink red circles with a white/yellow tail like shell attached? I am now curious what this might be and if anyone else has ever experienced something similar? I’ve never had an iud before but my body is used to birth control.
